The moto x has been motorola's flagship android smartphone since 2013. paving the way with innovations in hardware and software, motorola is now onto the 3rd generation of moto x. the 3rd generation includes two phones, the moto x style and the moto x play.. "android is starting" "optimizing app x of xxx" with restarts of the phone 5.1 last week, when i upgraded from kitkat to lollipop, during boot it said, "optimising apps, 1 of 132" took around 20 minutes to complete.. "android is upgrading, and afterwards it came optimizing application 1 of 158", later came as starting apps then tecno will come and the upgrading starts again for more than 24 hours. i need a solution to stop it and have access to the phone. i cant do anything with the phone so please give me the right solution.
I just upgraded my moto x to 5.1 last night. everything seemed to be fine today. then, i rebooted my phone to investigate a bluetooth problem with my car radio. upon rebooting, the phone went through the "android is starting... optimizing app ## of ###" routine. it optimized 120 apps and took 40 minutes before i could use the phone again..
